Covid vaccine mandates were mostly withdrawn (they still apply to healthcare workers and medical students in Australia) but they were not yet defeated in principle. In fact, few (if any) of the anti-covid-vaccine-mandate politicians voiced any opposition to vaccine mandates in general, but only disputed whether the benefits of these particular vaccines are sufficient to justify the mandated killing of an unlucky minority in the interest of the majority. The majority of people would still force vaccinate anyone, human rights be damned, if the circumstances were more dire and they believed that vaccines work. ‘Snake Oil’ is a terrific resource: 150 pages, 600 footnotes! I’m a PA not an MD, a dumb ER guy not an infectious-disease specialist. But it was obvious to me from the start (I mean the VERY start, Feb-March 2020) that the authorities were deliberately conflating the case fatality rate of 3% with the INFECTION fatality rate - at least two orders of magnitude lower. Maybe three.
Since unlike most people, I wasn’t getting my information about the virus from social media but from medical sources, ‘Snake Oil’ helped me finally understand the pandemic of insanity that suddenly beset many now-former friends and even family members. I just didn’t understand that such obviously faked videos could have such an impact.
I hope you are right and that 2023 will be a year of reckoning. But I fear the bastards are about to double down again.

The only protest and mayhem encouraged in 2020 was the violent, deadly and destructive Black Lives Matter and they were proved to be part of the theatre of fear of the plandemonium, and a cash cow and moral badge for the corporations that generously performatively gave millions to the cause.

I'm not quite as optimistic, but perhaps that's because I live in Vermont, the most jabbed and fearful state in the nation. I use the presence of masks as a indicator of the fear level, and there are some days where nearly everybody in the food co-ops is wearing a face diaper. The library where I volunteer still requires masks. Furthermore, even though government-issued mandates may have stopped, some businesses, especially those in the classical music world, continue to implement medical apartheid.
My overall impression is that people who believe in masks, jabs, and lockdowns will never, ever let go of those beliefs, even when confronted with the obvious fact that none of these things is of any value, and actually cause great harm. If only there were a way to get all the Covidian Cult members to move to specially designated areas where they can practice their fear-based insanity without disturbing the rest of us! Since that's not likely to happen, the answer (for me, at least) may be to move to an area where the insanity is minimal.

All. the emergency laws were cancelled on the 1st October 2022, along with the Covid "committee." - But here we are Jan 2023 and 99% of Thais outside their homes are still masking up - and the government offices insist on it as do the banks. All other stores leave it up to the customers - but the majority do it even outdoors in 35 degrees Celcius where no virus can exist. I ask people all the time why they are still wearing a mask. The majority say that they are afraid of the criticizm of others. Shop owners tell me they think their customers expect it - so the majority of staff everywhere are masked. And many young healthy people tell me 'it protects others.' Insanity.
The exposure of the just who benefitted from these “mandates”..vaccine and economic...will be the real reasons they were implemented...and it was NEVER about OUR health and safety. We the middle class AND lower classes...economically destitute and “the poor”....were all joined in the same destruction. So look about...who really gained from this coordinated suppressive event on US..the politicians....the huge corporations(if they had they will be taking huge tax deductions for the losses)....the union HQ leaders...the true globalists...Govt workers...the military brass...yet it is we who are targeted now on objecting to these mandates.
