Hey Michael, great piece again. I believe this "lockdown" has 100% to do with The Port of Shanghai and the price of commodities around the world. With this Ukraine crap, manipulation of commodity prices is very possible. Xi would have no problem stomping on Shanghai to hurt the West. It's always about furthering the CCP in my view. It was a really good piece to read. Thank you for posting it.
PS I ordered your book, but I've been told twice now that they have no idea if I'll get my shipment. Sounds fishy to me.
I am sorry for the late reply Michael. I was away from technology for 24 hours. It was amazing haha. I like to get away from distractions when I am doing heavy reading. I am working on a new piece about the Trudeaus. Its part of my first multi-story segment. It will be called SOS Canada... and I am charting the start of the downfall of Canada under PET up until the present day.. Lots of reading, but I am hoping it will be worth a it when I am done. I am completely new to actually putting my thoughts into long format words. I think 3x faster than I type. It gets me into trouble haha.
Yes it was an amazon order. I was told they have no idea when the shipper will be shipping the book. Twice I've got that message from Amazon.

Join the dots. Inflation and Inflation coming. Shanghai has reported 3 Covid deaths of unvaccinated 90 yr olds. That’s from 370,000 odd cases, for a CFR of 0.0008%. Obviously bull, but they are the figures China has chosen to report. That doesn’t explain Shanghai lockdown. But supply chain disruptions and weaponising inflation does.
I forwarded your article to a very knowledgeable, well-credentialed acquaintance in Taiwan who I consider a reliable and thoughtful source on all things China.
He pointed to a possible flaw in your thesis about the lack of taboo, in communist countries, on inflicting hardship on your citizens. His view was that, at least as concerns China, that proposition is rather contrary to history, citing Confucius and Mencius. He states that the ruler is considered “the father and mother” of the people and can’t long remain in power without taking care of his subjects. This, it seems, has long standing as a precept in Chinese culture.
That would seem lend credence to the idea that the misery being inflicted on the citizens of Shanghai is seen as being in service of the greater good.
Or, possibly, that it might be suicidal to the rulers should they be misjudging public perception.
this may actually underscore your thesis - look ma, 25 million locked down, no deaths (other than suicide, starvation, medical emergencies ignored). it also stands to reason that there is wef/ccp collusion here - remember the ccp's george gao is a top level wef creep...
Imho the Shanghai lockdown is to show the world that totalitarianism is necessary to control crises

What is 25 million when you have over one billion slaves? Nothing, is the answer. Fodder. This isn’t about a cold virus China, we all know that. How much were you paid to lockdown 25 million citizens,it had to be a lot. The purpose of this lockdown? Bring the rest of the world, addicted/dependant on Chinese made “things”, to a screeching halt, damaging their economies. Hmmm quite a risk China. I agree it's intentional but no one has clarity as to by whom or why. I like your ideas and see several more possibilities:
1) CCP was given bad intel about a deadly genetically targeted strain to force a tyrannical reaction to help bring down the CCP [SA --> US --> ASIA...]
2) CCP received good intel and it's legitimately a genetically targeted bioweapon that warrants the tyrannical reaction.
3) Someone is intentionally collapsing the global economy by crippling the world's largest manufacturing city. This could work alongside #1 & #2
4) Rounding up 5th column traitors ala the Hong Kong lockdowns. The CCP's primary purpose since Mao was to raise China's living standards and assure China never again becomes a colonial outpost.
