It's amazing, with the current high price and critical shortage of natural gas in the West (due to the stage-managed war in the Ukraine and Biden blowing up the Nordstream pipelines), that there seems to be no shortage whatsoever when it comes to gaslighting entire populations.

the passivity of the majority of people, their not wanting to know, is so baffling

Expand full comment

It's not baffling at all. Complying with power is a perfectly rational self-preservation strategy. Even if you can recognize that the king is evil and corrupt, if pointing it out will get you beheaded, the rational thing to do is stay quiet. And of course, if your compliance is so strong that you don't even have the capacity to question power in the first place, you're all the more safe from it. The king's enforcers won't pay any attention to sheep so docile that they aren't even capable of harboring wrongthink.

Right? To total lack of critical inquiry into the efficacy of lockdowns and masks is astonishing. And God forbid you should challenge their "science!"

When you notice the combination of the obvious ulterior motives with the censorship and persecution of dissenting scientific opinions - you quickly wake up to the reality of what they just did.

While we are happy many people came to our side of reality, it is amazing how many now claim they were always anti-lockdown, when we know for a fact that they were not. When my immediate family and I discovered we were the only ones in our circles of friends, family, co-workers, etc., who knew from day 1 that none of this was right, we turned to social media to find someone, anyone, who was seeing what we saw.

My first indicator that it would not be "just 2 weeks" was when West Point (where my son is a cadet) purchased a multi-million dollar educational platform so cadets could "do school" from their homes. Other schools, universities did the same, when they could have simply given students an extra 2 week vacation. There were so many signs.

Still waiting for apologies from so many. No pro lockdown politician will ever get our vote unless they have apologized. Please don't ever forget the 2 Air Force Academy cadets who died as a result of the severe lockdown there in April 2020.

Truth seeker, my son joined the USAF last year & when he graduated from Boot Camp in Sept 2021, my husband & I, unvax’d, were not allowed on base to see the ceremony, even though it was outdoors. We went to San Antonio anyway & watched the live stream from the hotel but I cried the whole time & for weeks before that, in disbelief that we would be denied that pride & honor as the parents of one of the very few who volunteer to serve. I will never forget any of the past 2.5 years, but esp what “my country” did to us.

Cindi, we just missed ring weekend at West Point because they still have the vax or test policy to enter and we refuse to take the test because 1) it is discriminatory 2) it is not accurate 3) it does not even make any logical sense!

West Point and other military leadership have disappointed us. We went to Plebe Parent Weekend in mid March 2020, travelled all over NY like normal people, and right after we came home, the world went crazy.

The service academies missed a great opportunity to show the world that the virus does little to healthy young people. It still infuriates us that they forced them to get vaxxed. At WP, it was voluntary at the beginning, until they realized no one was taking it. Then the coercion was fierce and immoral. Maybe the NY Supreme Ct recent ruling will snowball down to the military. Thank your son for his service.

The fact is, the lockdowns were not a mistake. They were deliberate. I remember talking with a co-worker in March 2020, a guy married to a government minister. He said her and her colleagues were all scared out of their wits over the consequences of what they were doing. But they did it anyway.

Did he give you any insights into *why*?

Expand full comment

For sure. But then why did they do it anyway?

Expand full comment

For financial reasons. The idea was to collapse the global economy, (it was going to collapse anyway, due to their decade-long policy of 'Quantative Easing' (i.e. printing more money -> currency devaluation) so that they could then 'Reset' it, and justify it because of Climate Change. The WEF call it Agenda 30, and 'The Great Reset'. Basically, they believe that there are too many people on the planet, and getting rid of several billion of us is all for the common good.

What caught my attention in Mr. Siglaugsson's original comment was the remark that government ministers were scared out of their wits over what they were about to do. That sounds like people who have a conscience, and don't know if they're ready to cause grave upset in their society.

It also seems unlikely to me that the majority of government officials in any country would be read in on the master plan, let alone be personally on board with it. If there is a group prosecuting such a plan, I am wondering what means they used to influence governments to institute covid lockdowns and the rest.

Was there an organized conspiracy at the top? Or was it all an emergent phenomenon of people being swept up in a tide of growing force, with opportunistic actors here and there scheming to make a buck, or to try out their latest technologies of mass manipulation and pharmaceutical delivery?

Expand full comment

Erin, my personal hunch is that those at the top are compromised by evidence of pedophilia.

I say this because over the last 30 years or so there has been a massive push to denounce and demonize pedophiles, with the fervor of a new religion. Absolutely hating pedophiles is the in-thing. At the same time, we have the whole 'Lolita Express' thing, which gained some traction but is clearly suppressed at the highest levels.

There may be other forms of blackmail too, but for sure I believe at the highest levels these people are a combination of blackmailed/compromised and/or in such a club of fellow perverts.

Yes that. No, I don't know the answer to it. There are a few theories though.

There are so many different angles by which these policies further the openly-stated agendas of the ruling class, it would be difficult to list them all. The only way in which the COVID totalitarianism may not have aligned with their interests was on immigration, although of course the US southern border stayed wide open the whole time anyways, so they could have easily concluded that was a minor and quite acceptable "loss."

Remember, many of these people openly state their belief in the need to greatly curtail the world's human population in order to stave off "global warming," or what have you. If they're willing to say that in public, just imagine what thoughts they are harboring in private.

American Democrats needed to have an excuse for "vote by mail." Need proof? Look at what happened to the House seats in Orange County, CA in 2018. Democrats' success lead them to ponder how they could roll out "vote by mail" nationally.

And for their "win" they destroyed the economy, murdered millions of innocent elderly people, lied about the cause of death of nearly everyone who died, locked up healthy people, forced us to wear useless masks, and required everyone to take a dangerous "vaccine."

I had so many friends and family turn on me in March/April 2020 when I said the government mandated lockdowns were stupid and dangerous. “Do you want to die? Do you want hospitals to be overrun? Don’t you care about other people? Do you want to kill Grandma?” Meanwhile sane people were losing businesses and having to try to work on Zoom and care for children, couldn’t visit elderly people in care facilities, were spies on and reported on by neighborhood busybodies for having people in their homes, or walking too close to another person outdoor, unmasked. It’s all such an enraging crock when politicians claim they opposed locked downs, which never actually happened and they weren’t that bad if they really had happened. I’m talking to you, Gretchen Whitmer.

I know of (only three sadly) restaurants in Southern California whose owners refused to shutdown, enforce face nappies or play the carry out only song and dance. They showed local government enforcers the door when they would often show up. The eateries stayed open and accrued charges and unbelievably high fines. But in the end all charges and fines were DROPPED. A little courage and critical thinking can go a long way…

The Minnesota AG, who is fervently hope is replaced on Nov 8, is still pursuing at least restaurant owner who defied the shutdown orders. Of the few who had the balls to stay open, there was never any report of a “super spreader” event at the out state businesses. They were in smaller communities and to my mind if the owner is willing to be open, we’ll, no one is forced to enter the place. It’s almost laughable but it’s not because civil liberties are at issue.

Shutting the world economy, criminalising social interaction, telling people they were going to kill their grandparents by meeting them, closing beaches and parks, telling people they weren't allowed to hug each other- all very obviously pointless and horrific ideas to anyone with even half a brain way back since March 2020, policies that should've been considered totally untenable due to being blatantly unethical, inhumane and not powers that the state should have in Western liberal democracies.

That for almost two years we dramatically re-oriented our entire way of life around the avoidance of one specific mild respiratory virus is such a profoundly insane idea that I will never get over the fact that it actually happened in a supposedly enlightened, technologically advanced civilisation.

This was so obviously going to cause incalculable and possibly irreparable economic and psychological damage and those who enabled it need to be held liable.

I got Covid just before the UK lockdown. Imprisonment. Not lockdown. House arrest announced by Boris Johnson. "You Must Stay At Home." Boris lied on an automatic basis to so many people, to all perhaps in his own interest, but it turned out he wasn't alert for people lying to him. That hadn't happened to him, and he didn't spot Vallance, Whitty and Pantsdown when they lied to him in chorus.

So I had Covid when it was nasty, unsurprisingly, being a gof virus paid to be nasty by the unknowing US taxpayer, and my husband got it from me, and I was unprepared, no stocks of necessary foods, because I live with a dependent relative with a diagnosis and a very restricted diet. For two days I couldn't speak, because speaking caused such coughing, and my throat was a knife like pain, so I wrote notes to my husband. I was short of breath, going out to the garden to breathe better, which was worrying, so I checked the NHS advice on the internet, which was not to ring emergency services until you couldn't speak. I assumed there would be provision for food and medicine deliveries to those voluntarily isolating with Covid (I was in my late 60s), so I looked to see what my local council offered - nothing. We had run out of paracetemol and my husband had severe joint pain. Nothing, no Government provision for house arrest at all. We appealed to the mercy of strangers on street mail. I now know who in the street is my friend - and who, even not knowing us, responded. It was a very small number. But I thank them. The rest ignored us. My Government ignored us. We pulled through. Nevertheless, those who decided on house arrests with no preparation, no economic assessment - they deserve criminal prosecution, long imprisonment, and their vast pensions should be confiscated and given to their many, many victims.

Those of us who see the gaslighting for what it is are probably the same people who opposed and fought the lockdowns. The egregious mandates, including lockdowns, were not failures; they were FEATURES. Coordinated across the globalist-corrupted western nations. It’s really important to stop attributing these crimes to ignorance or stupidity. They were calculated and premeditated. And the perpetrators should be treated accordingly.

Expand full comment

Exactly. This all has its roots with Bill Gates and all his various foundations, trusts, and NGOs he has his tenticles in, that are then working in concert with the WEF, BlackRock, and Vanguard. You can throw the Rockefeller’s and Rothschilds in too. They’ve been planning this for a very long time. It was no organic, spontaneous event. My hunch is that this virus was spreading around the world and known by these planners for at least a year or longer before it was “discovered” in Wuhan. How else could this virus spread around the world so fast, in matter of weeks to cause the WHO to declare it a global pandemic? We now know too that all those scary videos coming out of China at the the time were all fakes, many of them training videos made previously for other purposes that were repackaged to scare the West into what might be heading their way. I admit I got caught up in it all at the time too. It was like a real life horror movie.

Then came two weeks to flatten the curve that turned into 30 days to slow the spread that then became wholesale never leave your house and shut everything down until further notice. This was all orchestrated by Fauci and Brix, who now try and pretend they never advocated for it. And then came George Floyd and the mask came off literally and figuratively. Suddenly it was ok to leave your house, march in the streets with your fist pumped in the air and take your pent up anger at being locked up for 4 months out on local businesses by breaking windows, overturning cars and starting fires. They gaslighted us saying it was all justified civil disobedience by mostly peaceful protesters, but if you wanted to congregate in a church or park that was still considered a super spreader event and banned. That’s when I know beyond a shadow of a doubt the whole thing was bunk and we were being played, though I sensed it from the start.

I’m glad that we can now openly talk about this stuff and even the diehards are acknowledging it was a huge overreaction. It’s just too bad they’re now trying to rewrite history like it wasn’t as bad or extreme as we all remember it, and I’m glad articals like this exist to remind us all that it happened and it was.

So in addition to the myriad of ways people are dying from clotting ( pick an organ ) all cause mortality in 18-40 age bracket is seeing unprecedented growth according to the insurance companies who's business it is to know. I see a return of many cancers and fatal ailments that were long cured. Pfizer says, " Did we forget to mention the infertility - Oh my sorry! ". Now that a large segment of the population has 20% of their immune system left and a medical establishment that has converted to the business of killing for money . Go sit at home and do NOTHING until you can no longer breath, come see us we will starve and dehydrate you for a week put you on a ventilator, kill your kidneys with Remdesivir, then kill YOU for a tidy 400K +. It's good work if you can get it. If your the Gate's foundation, that is a truly good plan to reduce the population - government sponsored genocide and the money is simply a perk.
