I choose to avoid any convo w/ my true believer covidian friends & family because I love them for other reasons & now I feel very sorry for, & worried about them, even after some (mildly) discriminated against me.
That doesn’t mean I don’t understand the philosophical differences or will forget their stances, but I have found so many wonderful fellow travelers here & several other excellent sites that keep me sane.
And the true covidian believer friends / family have gone INCREDIBLY quiet, as the truth about every bit of the “response” (masks, distancing, lockdowns, mandates, passports, etc) comes out
Or (unless the venue was prohibitably far away or expensive) showed up as a “happy warrior” to challenge that the sanctimonious vax’d won’t get or spread it ☺️
It was in California and I live on the east coast, and I would have just yelled at people over their worship of all things Covidstan, so just stayed home😊
CA, ugh, can’t blame you! There are so many beautiful places there that I loved but it’s been a VERY long time since we’ve been; I just flat out refuse to give 1 dime to that f’d up, dysfunctional state. My husband & I have a handful of conservative friends there & we don’t know how they can stand it 🙆🏼♀️
I lost many friends who refused to listen to my many warnings about not taking the shots. I had to move on.

I was required to have a Covid shot or a negative test to attend my niece’s wedding last month. I said no and didn’t attend.

I’ve lived in CA 30 for years. It’s downright depressing to see how the government has nearly destroyed our (formerly) Golden State.
So true.
Id have done same
My covidian friends "don't want to talk about it" whenever I try and bring up the insanity.
I hope it's because they realise how wrong they were, but surely they should be speaking up so that it never happens again.
Same here..literally banned from entering houses now....
