Absolutely my friend...me too re: educated sciency family and all fell down the MSM rabbit hole. I went out each day (not allowed to go further then 2k's) after my long library hours researching...went over 8k's for my long long walks off into the beautiful Aussie parkland bush.. under a cathedral of giant gums...hugged my favourite ginormous tree, smelled in all the beautiful oils released from the native plants and trees and got as far away from humans as I could = right in the heart of our city! like I always did. Our city is surrounded by a huge parklands and the cbd is right inside of it. Never ceases to amaze me you are right in the heart of the city itself. Kookaburras laughing their heads off, even saw a platypus too! Basically honoured myself. As we all should. Your main comment Cindi surprises me too....saw the same compliance factor here too!

Thanks for that, I like the sanity in what you say.

As regards my family I can analyse and say that my father was in the royal Navy and used to following (and giving) orders. My sister was arts educated and science rather limited, despite her being very bright and thorough - more than me I thought.

But I did have a working life time in building surveying which gave me great breadth - I had never wanted to be narrow. In today's Covid nonsense I can see why this stood me in very good stead.

me too.. surveying, building designer, construction, architecture and engineering. ppl came to what my partner and I offered - alternative designs, lost craftsmenship, unique earth respectful construction, heritage restorations (victorian edwardian) giving new life to very very old things, materials. I propagated trillions of seedlings of native plants and trees and gave away for free to anyone. Ever since little I prefered to be outside in family garden building little forts and cubby houses....through to older years most ppl called me "tree"

Find a forest, stand at the base of a giant tree and look up to the sky through it's mighty branches and you'll find out "who" you really are and "why" - then hug it !

I suppose a forest is 'for rest'. We are 'trees' ourselves; after all we do have trunks and they can be hugged too!
